What you'll do
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and document business requirements for IT projects.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending technology solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories to guide the development and implementation of IT solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate how proposed changes will affect existing systems and processes.
- Assist in the testing and validation of new systems and enhancements, ensuring they meet business needs and requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, user manuals, and training materials.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the change management process by helping teams adapt to new systems and processes, providing training and support as needed.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to project management methodologies.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably within the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in creating documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL or Excel.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
