About the Role
The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload and grow our network.
Job Details
- Location: Leeds
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
- Salary: Up to £16.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- You will use the CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of the pipe, and to check for any damage that needs to be recorded (e.g., debris, grease buildup).
- Initially the role will involve accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy.
- You will then carry out the majority of the work from your van, which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work.
- You will use a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out, which involves crucial paperwork that must be reported back to the clients on behalf of whom you are working.
Desirable Qualities
We are looking for someone who has an interest in gaining a career in a field‑based role where you will be hands‑on in the operations.
Key Skills Required
- Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points
- Ability to work in a 2‑person team
- IT skills including Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- OX19 preferable
- CSCS Card preferable
You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
