Location: Andover, Hampshire.

Hours: 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.

Salary: £37,000-£44,000 per annum (depending on experience and tickets). Overtime paid at X1.5 on top of base salary.

About the Role

Working on a variety of different reactive contracts, you will be driving our gully wagons, working closely with an operative to clean along the highways. You will be assisting with getting in and out of the cab to conduct work accordingly, so a hands-on approach is needed and a willingness to get stuck in; you will also be responsible for using a company tablet on a daily basis. You will be outdoors for the majority of your working day – a love for the great outdoors is also a must! The role involves a mixture of days, nights and away working. It is essential to consider this before applying.

Responsibilities

  • You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuum units.
  • Carry out remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
  • Liaise with customers.
  • Update electronic records.
  • Ensure safety issues are reported.
  • Vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

Qualifications

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Competent in IT, accurate data entry.
  • CPC Licence is desirable.
