About the Role:
We are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to join our team on our United Utilities workstream.
Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Overtime is available as per business needs
Salary: Up to £35,516

Responsibilities - but not limited to:
- You will be working closely with a Waste Water Operative to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
- Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales.
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
- Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting.
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
- Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes.
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Requirements for the role:
- HGV Class 2 licence (required).
- Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Desirable: Experience with working on a Recycler.
- Experience of high-pressure water jetting is essential.
- Competent in IT, accurate data entry.
- Team player.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.
