About the Role
Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division for the Southern Water contract service. The role focuses on delivering effective solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems.
- Travel to residential sites in a two-person crew, using our custom-equipped fleet of high-tech vans.
- Survey the network of drainage systems.
- Assess pipe conditions and produce high-quality reports with state-of-the-art drain surveying equipment.
- Ensure jobs attended are completed.
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
- Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
- Ensure safe site setup.
- Update the job notes on VISTEC.
- Take photos of the setup, inspection chamber, and whole site.
- Deliver good customer service.
- Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
- Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by management.
About You
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, respectful, and comply with health and safety standards. Experience with OS19X equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
