About The Role
The Lanes Group are looking for Civil operatives to boost the team and manage our increased workload of our growing depot network based out of our Glasgow Depot.
- Location: Glasgow
- Salary: ÂŁ29,000 – ÂŁ35,000 based on experience and earning potential ( inc overtime)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

The Lanes Group are looking for Civil operatives to boost the team and manage our increased workload of our growing depot network based out of our Glasgow Depot.
- Location: Glasgow

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
The Job
You will be working as part of a two-person team on groundwork projects; including small civils works, drainage-related repairs, deep and shallow excavation, pipe work renewals, and reinstatement works.
Your schedule will vary to include all types of clients and worksites, from commercial and residential to industrial, rail, road and utility, right across the region. And you’ll need to be on board our award-winning health and safety programme which covers all aspects of your life at Lanes.
Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
About You
You’re a hard worker, keen to be part of a strong team and happy in the great outdoors, come rain or shine. We have a reputation for great customer service, so you’ll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary.
Along with previous drainage, you’ll need up to date CSCS card and full driving license. NRSWA qualification, Excavation operator and Confined spaces would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
