About The Role
We are looking for HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract.

We are looking for HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract.
Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the region. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.
Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and have up to date digi tachograph card.
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Location: Harestock
Hours: 6am - 6pm, 40.25 hours averaged over an 8 week period
Responsibilities - But Not Limited To
- Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
- Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Accurately complete job reports and system updates
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role
- HGV class 1 or class 2 driving licence (minimum of 2 years)
- Valid in date CPC and up to date taco

- Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.
