About The Role
We are seeking an HGV Wastewater Jetting Operative to join our reactive jetting division. You will be based in the Warrington area (Gatewarth), where you will be required to work on the Bucket 2 reactive contract problems on the sewer network operating a Recycler and City Flex.
Location: Gatewarth, Warrington.
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
Salary: Up to £36,400 per annum (dependent on experience).
Responsibilities - But Not Limited To
- You will be working closely with a CST (UU Operative) to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
- Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales.
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
- Carry out all aspects of high-pressure water jetting.
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
- Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- Competent in using an electronic device – laptop/tablet for data entry purposes.
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Requirements For The Role
- HGV Class 2 licence (required).
- Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points.
Desirable
- Experience with working on a Recycler.
- Experience of high-pressure water jetting is essential.
- Competent in IT, accurate data entry.
- Team player.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.
