In this critical role, you will ensure our organisation is known for being the best in everything we do, leaving a legacy of quality and compliance, and keeping our promises at all times. We operate 24/7, and as such, you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE, and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

About the Role: Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver effective solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems. You will travel to residential sites in an HGV around the Home Counties area, powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration, cleaning, clearing, repairing and maintaining drainage systems.

  • Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
  • Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro-mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
  • Rodding blockages.
  • Deliver good customer service.
  • Maintain good health and safety practices while carrying out works.

About You: The ideal candidate will be hard-working, respectful, and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
