Trainee Drainage Operative

About The Role

We are seeking Trainee Drainage Operatives to join our Operational team due to increased workload.

• Location: Aberdeen
• Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
• Salary: £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience

No drainage experience is necessary, as we will provide training to the appropriate standard. You will shadow and assist a drainage engineer, handling drainage-related issues such as blockages and pipe cleaning during maintenance programs.

You will be trained to use CCTV equipment that monitors water flow through utility pipes, measuring the heights and depths of pipes and checking for damages that need recording.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Training will cover equipment breakdowns and usage to identify drain defects.
• Training on how to use Excel for site drawings showing drain layouts.
• Full UK Driver’s Licence with no more than 6 points.
