About The Role

The Depot Supervisor is responsible for the planning and organisation of the Traffic Management Operatives response team activities, ensuring your team have the correct equipment and information to complete all works safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale. Working within the agreed SLA/KPI targets set by our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously held a supervisory position and is looking to progress into a management role. This is predominantly an office-based role; however, a company van is provided to enable you to work on various sites as and when required.

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm). You will also be required to go on a standby rota and be flexible to the business needs in working nights and weekends. This is a full-time position within a growing and busy department.

Responsibilities - But Not Limited To:

  • Ensuring that Operatives are allocated to correct jobs
  • Liaising with Sapphire Planning Team
  • Liaising with Client representatives
  • Ensuring On and Off Hire sheets are populated correctly
  • You will have responsibility for company vehicles and plant within the Depot, making sure they are calibrated and serviced correctly with the support of their transport division.
  • You will be required to be on the standby rota
  • Depot H&S
  • Ensuring TBT are carried out
  • General responsibilities for the Traffic Management equipment storage at Depot

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role:

  • You must also have excellent IT skills with the ability to use all Microsoft packages.
  • Previous traffic management experience and experience of liaising and leading a team.
  • Ability to schedule work to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage.
  • A full driving licence is also required.
  • Knowledge of health and safety is essential.
  • You must also be IT literate and hold a full driving licence.
