About The Role
Due to company growth, the Lanes Group are looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Partner to join the Preston team of 6 on a 6 month contract initially with a view to being extended dependent upon contract extension.
The team are responsible for Recruitment of all staff across the business in. An ideal applicant will have past Internal Recruitment or external agency experience with a good understanding of the entire Recruitment cycle.
Location: Preston (two office locations) – Hybrid – travel to various sites as required
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week – flexibility required
Salary: £30-£35k
Responsibilities – But Not Limited To
- Sourcing of candidates
- Interviewing Candidates/prescreening/attending selection panels
- Liaising with line managers nationwide throughout the business to understand varying recruitment need.
- Liaising with both internal and external staff and professional organisations (veterans societies, government schemes universities and colleges etc)
- Diary Management, Administration and carrying out employment checks
- Assisting in training/ Development of managers on the Talent process.
- Assisting the Head of Talent on improving campaigns, procedures and policies
- Attending job fairs, schools and colleges
- Involvement and management of apprenticeship programmes and assisting the HR team and Learning and Development with associated administration
- Data reporting for MI - Excel skills essential
- Assisting marketing with advertising vacancies/social media and intranet
- Assistance with ad-hoc projects/duties may be required to support the business
- Previous Talent Acquisition experience is essential
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation
- The ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team
- Confidentiality & discretion and displays high levels of diplomacy
- Adaptability – can adapt style to suit audience and can cope with change
- Ability to work at pace and on a number of demanding projects at one time
- Car Driver is essential to visit sites on occasions throughout the UK
