Streetworks Coordinator – SUS / Yorkshire Water
We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!
We are currently recruiting for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Yorkshire Region. About The Role
You will play a key role as part of a small team providing an essential service for our customers. You will be responsible for the timely allocation and despatch of high priority works to engineers to meet service level agreement (SLA) and timescales that have been set out by Yorkshire Water to our customers. You will manage all work on the out of hours engineers and take any relevant action required to ensure work is seen through to completion.
- Ensuring all the safe digs prints are available and distributed to operations to ensure they are able to dig safely
- Work in collaboration with field operations to ensure schedules are deliverable
- To program, allocated and coordinate works orders, through liaison with Site Supervisors and/or contractor representatives.
- To ensure that teams are issued with job packs, documentation for which defines the work required
- To ensure that local authority and statutory provisions for the administration of Streetworks are complied with
- To maintain accurate records of planned, in progress and completed work
- To comply with the relevant Health and Safety policy provisions
- To perform other duties as required
- To support and service the client and ensure all agreed client and internal KPI’s are met or exceeded
About You
- Previous experience and knowledge of permit schemes
- Be hard working and respectful
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Have great interpersonal skills to create relationships with the team, engineers
- Strong MS Office Suite knowledge
- Have solid communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Be resourceful and proactive
- Multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure and on own initiative
- Have the ability to deal with people at different levels
Position: Streetworks Coordinator
Location: Sheffield, Yorkshire
Job Type: permanent, full time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8am – 4:30pm)
Salary: £28k – £30k per annum depending upon experience
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays
