About the Role:

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

Location: Stockton on Tees

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £15 per hour depending on experience

The job:

You will use the CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of the pipe, as well as to check for any damages that need to be recorded, such as debris in the pipe or grease build-up. Initially, the role will involve accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy. You will then carry out the majority of the work from your van, which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work. You will be using a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out, which involves crucial paperwork that needs to be reported back to the clients you are working on behalf of.

Key skills required:

  • Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to work in a 2-person team
  • IT skills including Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • OX19 Preferable
  • CSCS Card Preferable

You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
