About the Role: We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full-time basis for days on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor. Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and an up-to-date digi tachograph card is required.

Location: Working out of Goddards Green

Hours: 5 in 7 Days 06:00 - 16:30 / 50 Hours per Week

Salary: £16 phr

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

  • Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
  • Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

  • HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
  • Valid in date CPC and up-to-date taco.
  • Minimum of 2 years Class 1/Class 2 experience.
