Field Operations Specialist

About the Role

You will be part of a team of Field Operations Specialists responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety, performance delivery, people management, vehicle utilisation and ensure adherence to budgetary limits for equipment and consumables.

  • Champion Health and Safety.
  • To complete the targeted amount of site inspections per month.
  • Overseeing all projects with daily reports being conducted.
  • Coordinating all onsite movements, processes and safety standards.
  • Daily training of new employees with a sign off of their competence throughout the training
    stages.
  • Aiding and assisting Line Management in the capture of Toolbox Talks issued for the month.
  • Compliance of Engineers on sites, whom the Supervisor is in control of.
  • Daily handovers into management, following procedures set out by Senior Management.
  • Ensuring data capture is being followed by on-site operatives.
  • Take lead in setting up and collapsing sites following Health & Safety and Client Standard,
    including any hired equipment.
  • Client engagement at the highest level.
  • To carry out any reasonable request by the Line Manager.
  • Being able to advise the business on all complex jobs.
  • Be aware of BSI policies and your responsibility towards them
  • Any other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the Operations or Regional Manager, or the Head of Logistics Management

About You

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards.

Previous management and leadership experience is crucial, as is a full UK drivers licence.

Having prior knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and waste water, will be an advantage.

Being able to prioritise and multitask whilst building working relationships is essential.
