Sapphire Utility Solutions is seeking a Traffic Management Coordinator based at our Lanes Depot in Slough, working closely with Thames Water. As a Coordinator/Planner, you will liaise with Operational teams regarding new jobs, inputting them into our systems. You will then liaise with operations managers and planners via email, phone or in person. Once works are completed, you will upload the information to the Thames Water System.
You will possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable liaising with operatives, managers and stakeholders. Well organised and self-motivated, you are able to work to strict deadlines with a flexible working approach. A team player, you go above and beyond as well as being comfortable working solely. You must be able to attend training at our Head Office in Preston where expenses will be covered.
Location: Slough
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Responsibilities - But Not Limited To:
- Assessing new job details through a centralised inbox regarding works to be carried out by our Traffic Management team
- Requesting CAD drawings to assist with works
- Uploading records onto Big Change, our internal system and then to the Depot overview
- Speaking directly with managers and planners via email, in person or on the phone
- Liaise with our Operations Managers, Depot Managers, Agents and Client planners to give progress updates
- Uploading completed works to the Thames Water system named Salesforce
- Daily communication with Depot Managers, planners and our Traffic Management department based at the Sapphire Utility Solutions Head Office in Preston
- Show good awareness of the timescales for undertaking required works and ensure that client specific SLAs are met
- Show excellent communication skills to ensure that our managers and planners are kept up to date with the progress of ongoing works
- Be organised to meet strict SLAs
- Work well both in a team and on your own initiative
Experience And Qualifications Desirable For The Role:
- Traffic Management understanding/experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Big Change and Salesforce desirable but not essential
- Able to work on their own and as part of a team
- Strong communication and written skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to learn new IT systems
- Attention to detail
- Valid UK Driving Licence
