We are currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to join our team based in Sheffield or Bradford in support of our Yorkshire Water Clean Water contract.
About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of clean water network operations projects within our well established Yorkshire Water Contract.
Location: Sheffield / Bradford
Hours: Monday to Friday – 45 Hours per week 7:30 - 5.
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- Driving, developing and managing business opportunities within the industrial water treatment division in support of Yorkshire Water
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clean water clients
- Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
- Lead bids and proposals, working closely with estimating teams.
- Build strong client relationships and understand project needs.
- Plan, budget, and manage construction schedules.
- Monitor progress on-site and resolve issues quickly.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee project close-out and final accounts.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
- Solid understanding of the water industry and construction processes.
- Degree/HND in Construction or Project Management (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with NEC3/NEC4/FIDIC contracts (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
- Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
