The Lanes Group is looking for a Civils Team Leader to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour depending on experience

Location: Sheffield

Working Hours: 40 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will have operational responsibility for the civils team and their in-day activities.
  • Manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant for each job whilst consulting with the office.
  • Assist in coaching and developing staff to reach their potential and ensure a fair and consistent culture within the teams.
  • Ensure all work is completed to Lanes Group standard and is defect free first time.
  • Checking the quality of work and coaching teams/individuals to ensure the right behaviours are always exhibited.
  • Cover all aspects of civils works.
  • You will work in accordance with recognised Health & Safety Standards and the Company's Safe Working Procedures.

About you:

  • Previous experience within deep excavations, sewer repairs etc.
  • Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Training Certs completed for cpcs above & below 10 tonne with lift ops (preferable).
  • HSG47, SSSTS, Streetworks Accreditation.
