Overview

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!

We are currently recruiting for a Frame & Covers / Ironworks Operative to join our team in Yorkshire. You will be working in a team of highly skilled Operatives to carry out replacing manhole frames and covers efficiently throughout Bradford Area.

Responsibilities

  • Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently; excavate by hand; replace gullies with precision and care; and complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.).
  • Carry out site-specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team members and site supervisor.
  • Ensure on- and off-site works are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits.
  • Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet.
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks.
  • Record photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed.
  • Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ensure highway reinstatement complies to avoid defects.
  • Be able to read and understand drainage plans.

What We Are Looking For

Experience And Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (Required)
  • Training will be NPORS, Banksman, Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Asbestos Awareness, Slinger and Signaller, Abrasive Wheels, Calm Water, EUSR Safe Dig – Cat & Genny, EUSR Water, Face Fit Tested – FFP3
