We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond! We are currently recruiting for a Reinstatement Operative to join our team in Yorkshire. You will be working in a team of highly skilled Operatives to carry out replacing manhole frames and covers efficiently throughout the Malton Area. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group.
About The Role
- Location: Bradford, Yorkshire.
- Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime also available at time and a half.
- Salary: To be discussed. Weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently.
- Excavate by hand.
- Replace gullies with precision and care.
- Complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.).
- Carry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team members and site supervisor.
- Ensure on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits.
- Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks.
- Record photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment.
- Ensure highway compliance with reinstatement to avoid defects.
- Be able to read and understand drainage plans.

Experience And Qualifications
- Full UK driving license (Required).
- Training will be NPORS, Banksman, Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Asbestos Awareness, Slinger and Signaller, Abrasive Wheels, Calm Water, EUSR Safe Dig β Cat & Genny, EUSR Water, Face Fit Tested β FFP3.
