Join to apply for the Reinstatement Operative (White/Black top) role at Lanes Group. We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond.
About the Role
- Location: Bradford, Yorkshire
- Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime available at time and a half.
- Salary: To be discussed.
Responsibilities
- Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently; excavate by hand; replace gullies with precision and care.
- Complete all types of reinstatements (pavingarmac, concrete, etc.).
- Carry out site-specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisor.
- Ensure on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits.
- Update and complete site documentation using an electronic tablet.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks.
- Record photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment.
- Maintain highway compliance with reinstatement to avoid defects.
- Be able to read and understand Drainage plans.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license (Required).
- Training will be NPORS, Banksman, Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Asbestos Awareness, Slinger and Signaller, Abrasive Wheels, Calm Water, EUSR Safe Dig – Cat & Genny, EUSR Water, Face Fit Tested – FFP3.
