Fantastic opportunity to work with a brand new team under the Thames Water Contract! This role would be based out of the southern region and will require you to work away from home, depending on the location of the project. As this role is based on projects we take on, we will require you to be flexible with hours. Hotels are provided by the company and transport is discussed.
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 4:30pm
Location: Chalgrove, Chertsey region
Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays
Overtime paid at 1.25x
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery
- Ensure all H&S requirements are followed
- Assist the Project Supervisor working on and operating our combined sewer jetting/vacuumation units to carry out jetting and vacuumation works.
- Rotate equipment pattern
- Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear drains, sewers and pipework.
- Remove waste materials from the wastewater.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.
- Learn to complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) under supervision.
- Maintain and operate the required HGV vehicles on the project.
- Ad‑hoc tasks given by the Project manager.
