The Lanes Group are the UK’s largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services. We play a vital role in maintaining the seamless operations of the nation’s water systems.

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 6pm

Location: Chalgrove, Chertsey region

Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays

Overtime: paid at 1.25x

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery
  • Ensure all H&S requirements are followed
  • Assist the Project Supervisor with operating combined sewer jetting/vacuumation units to carry out jetting and vacuumation works
  • Rotate equipment pattern
  • Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear drains, sewers and pipework
  • Remove waste materials from wastewater
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness
  • Learn to complete job sheets, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) under supervision
  • Maintain and operate the required HGV vehicles on the project
  • Ad‑hoc tasks given by the Project manager
