The predicted salary is between 13 - 17 £ per hour.

We are looking for Supervisors to lead the team of HGV Tanker Drivers to work out of our depot in Iver. You will be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently in line with the Waste Contract. The work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions.

Hours: 4 days on 4 days off

Salary: £17

Location: Iver

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all engineers are compliant with PPE & Company policy standards
  • Support engineers in the field
  • Competencies of engineers
  • Audits
  • Training of engineers
  • Managing sites and keeping clients up-to-date
  • Health & Safety onsite
  • Basic vehicle maintenance & stock
  • Work instructions to engineers
  • Problem-solving
  • Site set up and site stand down as well as housekeeping
  • Planning breaks on 12hrs or 24hrs drivers
  • Taking deliveries and off-hiring equipment
  • Carry out any reasonable ad hoc request by LMC Managers or the Senior Leadership Team
  • Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them

About You:

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Previous management and leadership experience is crucial, as is a full UK drivers licence. Having prior knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and waste water, will be an advantage. Being able to prioritise and multitask whilst building working relationships is essential.
