We are currently recruiting for a Lining Operative to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions. About the Role
As a Lining Operative, you will:
- Maintain great customer service and communication
- Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
- Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
- Carry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisor
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
- Wear and maintain in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bring to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment
- Work on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
- Work with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
- Set up traffic management (Training will be provided)
- Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
- The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend
- Working away will also be required on occasion as we cover multiple contracts across the country

- Asbestos Non-Licence with Awareness
- CPC Driver Training (HGV only)

- Calm Water
- EUSR Water SHEA
- Confined Space High Risk
- Abrasive Wheels
- WRC Approved Installer for Patching & Lining
- Dumper Wheeled Forward Tipping
- EUSR Shuttering & Shoring
- NRSWA – Operative Units (LA,01-06)
- Slinger and Signaller
- Puller Winch
- Counterbalance and Telehandler
- SSSTS
- Excavator used as Crane Lifting Ops
- WRC Approved Installer of specific Lining materials e.g.- Saertex; IMPREG; Reline
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
