About The Role
Due to business expansion, we are currently looking for a new Lining Site Supervisor to report into the Lining Project Manager, based at our Leyland office. The role will cover contracts with the lining division. This role is best suited to somebody who thrives in running a team with excellent man‑management skills and strong communication skills, who can work well under pressure.
- Maintain great customer service and communication
- Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
- Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablets
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
- Work on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
- Work with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training provided)
- Set up traffic management (Training provided)
- Confined spaces entry (Training provided)
- The operative will be expected to be flexible, picking up overtime if required and occasional weekend work
- Working away will also be required on occasion as we cover multiple contracts across the country
Experience and Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence required
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid
- EUSR National Water Hygiene
- Asbestos Non‑Licence with Awareness
- CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
- Confined Space Awareness
- Gas Monitor Training
- Spill Response
- Face Fit Tested – FFP3
- Calm Water
- EUSR Water SHEA
- Confined Space High Risk
- Abrasive Wheels
- WRC Approved Installer for Patching & Lining
- Dumper Wheeled Forward Tipping
- EUSR Shuttering & Shoring
- NRSWA – Operative Units (LA,01‑06)
- Slinger and Signaller
- Puller Winch
- Counterbalance and Telehandler
- SSSTS
- Excavator used as Crane Lifting Ops
- WRC Approved Installer of specific Lining materials e.g. Saertex; IMPREG; Reline
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
