Established in 2013, Sapphire Utility Solutions has quickly become the partner of choice for many clients across the UK in our chosen markets.
As a Civils Support Operative, you will be working on our United Utility contract within the North West. You will provide expertise, experience, and work closely with your team to deliver a first-class service to our customers. You will be competent in working in wastewater networks, able to engineer solutions on site, and focus your teams on completing work right first time.
Hours: 50 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm
Salary: £36,946-£38,246 per annum, depending on experience and tickets. Overtime rates are paid at X1.5. Weekly pay.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safe dig practices at all times
- Ability to work under pressure; using a company tablet, uploading and relaying information to head office
- Forward thinking, positive attitude, good housekeeping, good time management
- Ensure plant and equipment is used correctly and in correct working order
- Resolving problems / clearing blockages / excavating on sewer networks
Requirements for the role:
- HGV Class 2 licence (required)
- Driver's licence mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points
Desirable:
- Experience working with JHL City Flex’s, or training provided
- Experience in high pressure jetting advantageous; training provided
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Competent in IT and accurate data entry
- Team player
- Positive, can-do attitude
Full training will be given in the following areas: Jetting, SLG, First Aid, Manual Handling, Confined Spaces.
