About the role
As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be required to work on our planned traffic management schemes on our Thames Water contract.
- Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire (Depot location)
- Hours: 50 hours per week, 07:00‑17:00 (Monday to Friday)
- Salary: base rate – £32,500 + average overtime OTE £42,250 per annum + additional loyalty bonuses in first 12 months up to £550. Overtime is paid at 1.5×.
Responsibilities
- You will work alongside another TM Operative carrying out methods of traffic management utilising your M1 & M2 certificates.
- Two‑way setups.
- Man on Site.
- Road closures.
- Accurate photographs must be taken for reporting of work carried out using the tablet supplied.
- You will carry out risk assessments and method statements.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, responsible for vehicle cleanliness.
- Liaise with the general public and direct them through safe site lines as required.
Experience and qualifications
- M1 & M2 Lantra certificates.
- Driving licence.
- IT literate.
