Choose a career with the UK's biggest independent drainage specialist. The Lanes Group needs a van-based Jetting Engineer on the front line, to join our growing depot network in Preston.

About You

  • You’ll already be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment, but you may not have drainage experience. That’s OK — we’re happy to train you to the appropriate standard.
  • A high pressure water jetting certificate would be good, but it’s not essential.
  • You’ll need a UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and hold an up to date CSCS card.
  • You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures.
  • You’ll love working outdoors.
  • Being flexible is essential too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota.

The Job

  • You’ll be operating van-mounted jetting equipment for a wide range of drain-related issues.
  • Based out of a local depot, your projects will cover a wide range of drainage related issues, from emergency call-outs and blockages to cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programmes.
  • You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial to specialist sectors like rail, road, utility, and so on.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm)

Being flexible is essential too as you will be required to travel to site.
