We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Project Manager to support major contract mobilisation programmes for newly awarded contracts, primarily in the water utilities sector. Reporting to and working alongside an IT Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery of all IT aspects across multiple sites and contracts. The role will involve managing infrastructure setup, systems access, telephony, hardware provisioning, system integrations, and reporting solutions. You will also need to concurrently manage smaller IT projects and pieces of work, both related and unrelated to the main mobilisation programmes.
Location: Flexible with travel to various UK Sites
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000.00 - £48,000.00

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver IT workstreams for new contract mobilisations, including:
- System integrations around core solutions/reporting
- Infrastructure setup (networks, servers, telephony, hardware deployment)
- Site connectivity (WAN, LAN, VPN, WiFi, etc.)
- Desktop, laptop, mobile device procurement and rollout
- User access management for core business systems (e.g. Microsoft 365, Job Management Platforms, etc.)
- Manage end to end system integrations, including integration of client work management systems into internal platforms via middleware such as MuleSoft.
- Deliver reporting solutions using Power BI and Azure Data Warehouse integrations, where required.
- Plan, manage, and track delivery milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Engage and manage third-party vendors for IT hardware, software, and network services.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data protection standards.
- Support user onboarding, training, and go-live activities.
- Manage and deliver smaller, concurrent IT projects or initiatives as required.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing IT mobilisation, deployment, or transformation projects.
- Strong technical understanding across infrastructure, telephony, networking, and hardware rollout.
- Experience in and technical understanding of system integration projects, ideally using middleware platforms (e.g. MuleSoft).
- Experience with reporting and data solutions using Power BI and Azure.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
- Strong planning, risk management, and issue resolution skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in utilities, construction, or field services sectors.
- Familiarity with job management systems or field service management platforms.
- PRINCE2, Agile PM, or other project management certifications.
