Overview
We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full-time basis for days on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work involves tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.

Hours: 4 nights on 4 off, 6pm – 6am average of 40.25 hours a week
Salary: £20.40 per hour

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV-mounted vacuum tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
- Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.
Experience And Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence
- Valid in-date CPC and up-to-date tachograph card
About You
The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
