We are seeking a HGV Jetting Engineer to join our operational team in Manchester. This role involves working within a well-established team, expanding our workforce.

Location: Manchester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours/week

Salary: Up to £15.00/hour depending on experience

The Job: You will operate high-specification tankering vacuumation units independently. Your work will include addressing drainage issues, waste transportation, assisting with remedial works on Anglian Water sites, and responding to emergencies. Initially based at the depot, you will be mobile, covering various sectors including industrial, utility, commercial, and residential, across the region, with travel times included.

About You: Experience in vacuumation tankering is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided for suitable candidates. You must hold an HGV Class 2 license, ideally with no more than 3 penalty points. A CPC qualification is desirable. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, good listening and critical thinking abilities, teamwork, customer focus, and excellent hand-eye coordination for machinery operation.

  • Industry qualifications like NRSWA and Confined Space (preferable)
