The predicted salary is between 42000 - 45000 £ per year.

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full‑time basis for nights on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non‑hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.

Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and up‑to‑date digital tachograph card is required.

Salary: £20.40 per hour

Hours: 4 nights on / 4 nights off, 6 pm – 6 am, 40.25 hours averaged over an 8‑week period

Location: Goddards Green

Holidays: 21 days including bank holidays

Responsibilities – But Not Limited To:

  • Operate HGV‑mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
  • Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high‑quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role:

  • HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
  • Valid in‑date CPC and up‑to‑date tachograph card.
