HGV Supervisor – Day shift. Lead a team of tanker drivers across Sussex Region, ensuring efficient work in line with Waste Contract. Operate tankering non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all engineers compliant with PPE & company policies.
- Support engineers in field.
- Competency development of engineers.
- Conduct audits.
- Train engineers.
- Manage sites & keep clients updated.
- Health & safety onsite.
- Basic vehicle maintenance & stock.
- Issue work instructions to engineers.
- Problem-solving.
- Site set up and stand down with housekeeping.
- Plan breaks for 12hr or 24hr drivers.
- Taking deliveries & off-hiring equipment.
- Carry out reasonable ad hoc requests by LMC Managers or Senior Leadership.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies.
Qualifications
- HGV Class 2 licence.
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Up-to-date Digi Tachograph card.
- Hard working, respectful, comply with health and safety standards.
- High-pressure jetting experience useful but not essential.
- Drainage qualifications (NRSWA, Confined Spaces) an advantage.
