Reporting to the Operations Manager for the Southern Water Contract, you will need to lead a team of multi-skilled Field Managers, Supervisors and Field Staff in the delivery of waste-water operational response in a dynamic environment.
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum
Hours: 45 hours, 1 hour lunch 7 - 5 (Monday to Friday)
Location: Millbrook - Southampton
Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays £25 on call
Responsibilities:
- Carry out site inspections
- Coordinate field engineers
- Manage fleet issues
- Evaluate employee performance
- Liaise with the office planners / team leaders
- Conduct one-to-ones
- Vehicle utilisation
- Resource availability
- Assisting the client with high profile jobs
- Monitor engineers’ performances
- Carry out and liaise with HR on disciplinaries / interviews / pathway reviews
- Looking after the wellbeing of the field staff
- Be aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by the Regional Manager for Hampshire, the Head of Field Operations or any other member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Experience and capabilities:
- Supervisory or management experience of 5 years
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft 365
- Comfortable working in operational roles
- Previous background of working with compliance, processes and health and safety regulations
