Join to apply for the Vegetation Operative - Lanes role at Lanes Group. Vegetation operatives β Rail Division. Lanes Group Rail Division are based in Rainham and require vegetation operatives to work on a contract within the rail sector and add to an experienced and efficient workforce.
About You
You will need to be a keen, hardworking individual that is able to work well within a team. You will be client facing so must be self-presentable when dealing with both the client and members of the public where required. Experience in either rail or vegetation would be preferred but not essential as training can be given to the right individuals. You will need to hold a full UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
The Job
You should be willing and flexible in your work approach and the work will involve a range of activities from strimming up to tree removal. This role is predominantly for day shifts; however, you may be required to work night shifts where the work requires it. You will also be responsible along with the rest of the team for the tools, plant, and equipment you will be using. There will also be the opportunity for overtime where possible. Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.
