We are looking for a Product Analyst to support the Rail Division's operational and commercial functions by supporting our internal management systems. The role will focus on configuring and maintaining forms, reports, document repositories, and user access within Teamleaf, our job management system. Teamleaf interfaces via API with client systems and internal platforms, including Power BI and Microsoft Tenant applications, which require ongoing monitoring and support.
Working closely with third-party software providers, the internal IT team, and Rail Division stakeholders, you will ensure systems remain reliable, accurate, and aligned with operational and financial reporting requirements. You will also act as the main point of contact for system access and configuration requests across the Rail Division and from the client.
Location: Rainham, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (40 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Annual Leave: 24 days (not including bank holidays)
Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and update system forms, workflows, and document repositories within Teamleaf.
- Support operational and finance teams with accurate reporting of completed works, KPIs, and costs.
- Maintain and monitor API integrations between Teamleaf, client systems, and internal reporting platforms.
- Liaise with third-party software vendors to resolve system or connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Provide support to site operatives experiencing mobile app or system access issues, including occasional out-of-hours support aligned with night operations where required.
- Work with the Lanes IT team to ensure mobile devices and system access comply with security and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with operational managers to ensure system data supports accurate commercial and performance reporting.
- Act as the Rail Division point of contact for system access requests and client-facing system queries where applicable.
- Provide product ownership expertise, ensuring group IT central processes are considered and ensuring the needs of the C&I Rail division are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT, systems, or software support role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and data capture requirements.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into practical system configurations.
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders, including operational, commercial, and IT teams.
- Willingness to provide flexible support when required to meet operational demands.
- Experience within the rail and/or drainage sector is desirable but not essential.
