Location: Ryemeads Treatment Works, Home Counties North Region (Ware, Hertfordshire)
Job Type: Permanent full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours a week (3 weeks of days, 1 week of nights)
Salary: OTE £37,800 per annum (basic pay including night premium, overtime and bonuses)

About the Role: Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
- Travelling to residential sites in a two-person crew around the region in one of our custom-equipped fleet of high-tech vans.
- Survey the network of drainage systems.
- Assess pipe conditions to produce high-quality reports with the help of state-of-the-art drain surveying equipment.
- Ensuring jobs attended are completed.
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
- Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
- Ensuring safe site set up.
- Updating the job notes on VISTEC.
- Ensure photos are being taken of the setup inspection chamber and whole site.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good H&S practice while carrying out works.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
- Any reasonable ad-hoc tasks, projects or duties as requested by management.
About You: The ideal candidate will be hard-working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of OS19X is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. A full UK driver's licence is essential as both crew members may be needed to drive the vehicle.
