We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our Depot based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

About the role:

  • Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: £14.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Weekly pay

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

  • Work closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units - full training will be provided
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems - full training will be provided
  • Liaise with customers
  • Update electronic records
  • Ensure safety issues are reported
  • Conduct vehicle and jetting equipment checks

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

  • HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
  • A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
  • An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained if necessary
