The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water! We are recruiting for a number of Drainage Engineers to work either in 2 person teams or on their own, covering the whole of Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new career with us here at Lanes Group!

The role involves attending sites, including customers’ homes, and investigating any waste water works that need to be conducted such as drainage repairs, and resolving them for the customer. You will be trained on all Chapter 8 signage regulations to enable you to work in a safe environment and to keep the public safe also whilst you are working. Full training and PPE will be provided.

About You

  • Team oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the drainage engineering field
  • You must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to use a mobile phone to take photos and make notes of each job
  • Previous experience as a Drainage Engineer is desirable
  • Hours – Shift pattern – 4 on/4 off early shift / Late shift / Nights
  • Location – Ashford, Kent – depot to be confirmed
