Position Details
Location: Andover, Hampshire.
Hours: 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
Salary: £37,000-£44,000 per annum (depending on experience and tickets). Overtime paid at 1.5× on top of base salary.
About the Role
Working on a variety of reactive contracts, you will drive gully wagons and work closely with an operative and HGV driver to clean along highways across the country. You will assist with cab access and use a company tablet daily. The role requires a hands‑on approach and willingness to get stuck in, as well as comfort working outdoors for most of the day. Your schedule will involve a mixture of days, nights and away shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes and other wastewater systems.
- Use remote CCTV investigations to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- Work in a two‑person team operating high‑spec jetting and vacuumation units.
- Liaise with customers.
- Update electronic records.
- Report safety issues.
- Perform vehicle and jetting equipment checks.
Experience & Qualifications
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Competent in IT and accurate data entry.
- CPC licence desirable.
