We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our administration team here at Sapphire Utility Solutions based at our site on Pride Park.
The role is vital to business reporting and will responsible for managing and distributing reports to business and board.
The applicant must have string administration skills, and be able to work to deadlines. This is a varied role,
About the role
- Location: Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8JH
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Lunch Break: 30 minutes
Role duties
- General day to day administration, producing a high level of support to the department.
- Updating our in-house database system.
- Develop and maintain an effective filing system.
- Producing reports for managers
- Monitor and react to a range of data generated within the business.
- Manage phone calls, enquiries, and requests.
- Liaison with all internal staff regarding related queries, dealing with queries where possible or passing through to the team as necessary.
- Updating records will include working on various databases as well as Microsoft office including Excel at an intermediate level.
- General scanning, filing, as and when required by the department.
Experience/must haves for the role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, and time management.
- IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of fleet management systems also standard email, word processors, presentations and must be proficient in excel.
- Customer service skills, and the ability to converse at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Able to work within a team, take direction from others and collaborate with others.
- Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
