We operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our employees have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

Salary: £15 p/h

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 4:00pm

Location: Crawley - West Sussex

Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery.
  • Ensure all H&S requirements are followed.
  • Assisting the Project Supervisor working on and operating our combined sewer jetting/vacuumation units to carry out jetting and vacuumation works.
  • Rotating equipment pattern.
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear drains, sewers, and pipework.
  • Remove waste materials from the waste water.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.
  • Learn to complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) under supervision.
  • Maintain and operate the required HGV vehicles on the project.
  • Ad-hoc tasks given by the Project manager.
