We are currently recruiting for a HGV Jetting Assistant to join our team in Northern Wales, you will be working closely with the HGV Jetting Operative to carry out high pressure jetting.

About the role

  • Salary: starting hourly rate of £13.25 up to £14.25 per hour depending on experience.
  • Location: Kinmel Bay, Northern Wales
  • Hours: 07:30am - 17:00pm (1 in 4 on-call duties)
  • Weekly pay

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HGV jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Operating machinery and tools safely.
  • Carry out inspections & identify possible blockages, leaks and resolve the issues.
  • Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.
  • Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Wearing and maintaining any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection at all times.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Training will be provided on: Water Jetting Association Red or blue book, Banksman, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Medium risk confined space.
