About the role: The Lanes Group needs an experienced Industrial Vacuum Tanker Assistant to join our Industrial Services team in Chester. You’ll operate high‑vacuum DISAB equipment to remove silt, sludge and debris from drains, tanks and industrial sites.
Location: Chester
Hours: Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week
Salary: £14.50 per hour

As an Industrial Vacuum Tanker Assistant, you will be:
- Assisting the driver with DISAB and vacuum tanker operations
- Carrying out drainage cleaning, jetting, and desilting works
- Setting up traffic management and ensuring site safety
- Handling hoses, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Supporting routine vehicle and equipment checks and maintenance
- Completing basic paperwork and following company procedures
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Experience and Qualifications:
- Full UK driving license (Required) with no more than 6 points
- Experience with DISAB (Air Mover) equipment (Required)
- CSCS and Confined Space certs (Required)
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
