About The Role

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Assistant to assist the lead CCTV Engineer and support the growing network.

Location and Details

  • Location: Derby (DE21)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: £12.25 per hour

The Job

  • You will be trained and familiar with CCTV equipment that monitors water in the pipes, measuring heights and depths and recording any damages.
  • You will use CCTV equipment to measure pipe dimensions and check for debris or grease build-up.
  • Initially the role involves accessing the pipe via manhole covers to insert the CCTV camera with accuracy.
  • You will carry out the majority of work from a van equipped with CCTV and computer system.
  • You will use a tablet to keep records of your work and report back to clients.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in gaining a career in a field-based role where you will be hands-on in operations.

You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
