At Lanes Group, our staff are pivotal in helping us to efficiently deliver our industry-leading drainage and wastewater solutions across the country. By taking up a role as a Business Development Manager, you will play an essential role in developing our most important accounts and increasing our client base within the transportation sectors.
Lanes design and build deliver services within the Rail and Construction sectors and are an integral partner to Lanes Group across its multi sector client base.
This dynamic development management role comes with a significant amount of responsibility, heading up development of our key accounts, creating new opportunities through long established working relationships.
Reporting to: Rail Director
To develop relationships and opportunities directly within Rail and Construction sectors with Network Rail, Tier 1 Contractors and Design Consultants. The focus will be to develop long term frameworks, packages of works and individual orders that will be delivered through the Lanes contracting business. Develop opportunities across Earthworks, Capital Projects, CP6, CP7. Produce projected sales figures and reports. Undertake continuous customer care duties to maintain and increase service levels and performance. Source new business to promote the growth of the company. Assist in debt collection as required.
Desirable Qualities: Experience of design and build construction with an appreciation of operating within the rail sector is desirable. Work types include but are not limited to civil engineering, P-way, earthworks, SuDS and drainage.
Due to the changing nature of our business the role will inevitably evolve as the business expands, the candidate will be expected to take on additional duties as required by the management.
24 days holiday (rising to 27 with length of service) + bank holidays. Company car with a fuel card or Company car allowance. Auto enrolment pension scheme.
