Sapphire Utility Solutions is looking to appoint a Streetworks Compliance Auditor based in the North West. You will work closely with the Streetworks Manager, Advisors and Coordinator to ensure safety issues on site are identified and rectified. The role adopts a human factors based approach to support HSEQ management and build relationships.
Location & Hours
Site based throughout Yorkshire. Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week (8am - 16:30pm).
Salary
Up to £39,000.
Travel & Vehicle
Travel to various sites. A company van with a fuel card will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support managers in monitoring and managing across multi-discipline contracts, focusing on risk identification and control through site inspection and audit.
- Promote good Health and Safety practices within the team.
- Collaborate to deliver support, general safety advice, and guidance on relevant company standards and safe working practices.
- Work with the HSEQ department to implement the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Strategies and delivery plan.
- Support the development, administration, and upkeep of the Safety Management Systems.
- Inform the business and team of any non-conformance.
- Electronically complete reports, undertake audits, and identify and rectify any safety issues present on site.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous Streetworks auditing experience within either civilisation utilities or construction environment.
- Site based experience within Streetworks Compliance.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise in a busy, changing environment.
- Team player with an ability to build good working relationships across all levels of personnel.
