Position: HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer

Hours: 4 days on 4 days off, 40.25 hours - Nights
Salary: OTE £55,000 (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role:
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. You will be travelling to residential sites in a HGV, around the North London East area powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning, clearing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems.
- Recording each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Running diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro-mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
- Rodding blockages.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good health and safety practices while carrying out works.

About You:
The ideal candidate will be hard-working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a minimum of a HGV Class 2 licence and you must have completed the certificate of professional competence (CPC) and an up-to-date digi tachograph card.
